This Postojna Cave to Kotor takes 12 curious travelers by van, on a private custom tour of Lake Bled to Škocjan Caves, Škocjan Caves, Zadar, Split, Mostar, Kotor, and Dubrovnik (Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro).

Your tour begins in Ljubljana, Slovenia and ends in Dubrovnik, Croatia.
Day 1
You'll be welcomed at the Ljubljana Jože Pučnik International Airport (LJU) and transfered to your hotel in Old Town Ljubljana. Take some time to rest up after your flight before our typical Slovenian cuisine welcome dinner of Bograč and Idrijski žlikrofi.

Day 2
We’ll spend the day exploring the picturesque area of Lake Bled with its charming island church and medieval castle perched on a cliff with snow-capped mountains in the background. The lake is surrounded by legends and folklore, adding to its magical ambiance.

We'll return to Ljubljana for dinner and overnight.
Day 3
After breakfast, our morning walking tour of Ljubljana, followed by a drive by Predjama Castle to Postojna, a series of caverns and underground passages extending for 24 kilometers and one of the largest cave systems in Europe.

Overnight in Opatija, Croatia.
Day 4
We’ll spend the day at the enchanting Plitvice Falls, a stunning UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its 16 interconnected emerald-blue lakes and cascading waterfalls. The park is characterized by lush forests, hiking trails, and various walking and viewing platforms offering breathtaking perspectives of the natural landscape.

Day 5
Following breakfast, we’ll drive to Zadar for an afternoon visit to their Roman Forum dating back to the 1st century BC. We'll share stories of how these ruins were modeled after the Forum in Rome.

Day 6
We’ll Tantalize our tastebuds and expand our knowledge of traditional Croatian cuisine with a culinary tour. We’ll enjoy tastings at multiple locations, sampling local olive oil, fish dishes, cakes, prosciutto, and delicious local wine.

Day 7
You’ll have some free time in Zadar before driving to the UNESCO World Heritage Site in Split. You'll stroll through the old city, a maze of narrow, winding pedestrian streets that offer a unique blend of ancient history and modern life.

Day 8
After breakfast, we’ll drive to Bosnia and Herzegovina landing in Mostar, a charming old town in a breathtaking location. alwso known for having great food. You'll take a walking tour of the town and its main attraction, Stari Most - the old bridge. The bridge over the Neretva River and the town are so intimately connected as Mostar means "bridge keeper." The bridge was built between 1557 and 1566 at the behest of Suleiman the Magnificent, when the entire region of present-day Bosnia was part of the then all-powerful ottoman empire and represented one of the greatest engineering feats of the time.

We’ll stay overnight in the fascinating city of Mostar.
Day 9
We’ll test Bosnia and Herzegovina's culinary reputation with a cooking experience followed by free time for you to stroll and shoot photos along the narrow streets surrounded by little shops offering local products representative of the history and traditions of the people in the region.

Day 10
We’ll spend two nights in historic Kotor, located on a beautiful bay on the coast of Montenegro, a city steeped in tradition and history with remarkable scenic views. Another UNESCO World Heritage site, the old city was built between the 12th and 14th centuries and is filled with medieval architecture and historic monuments. Your tour will be spiced with stories about who walked the cobblestone streets within the walled city of medieval times.

Day 11
Day two in Kotor includes strolling the old village and a boat trip on the Adriatic Sea with views of the mountains, stopping at towns, islands, and caves of interest and possibly swimming.

Day 12
We’ll make the scenic drive to the historical coastal city of Dubrovnik and learn the history around the old city dotted with monasteries, palaces, and terracotta rooftops.

We have two nights in this picturesque location.
Day 13
We’ll hop the local Elaphiti Islands Ferry to visit nearby island Šipanska Luka, an active fishing village with a fortified church and a parish church with15th-century paintings, Suđurađ, featuring a 16th-century castle and a tower built for defense against pirates, and Koločep, a settlement with a mix of old stone houses and historical churches. We’ll have our last supper in the center of Dubrovnik.

Day 14
You’ll be transported to the Dubrovnik Airport after breakfast, for your flight home.
