THE BIG 5: African Safari

April 2-14, 2027

Join a small group of adventurers for a 13-day private/custom wildlife Safari experience in Kenya and Tanzania, through the Serengeti, Masai Mara, to Ngorongoro Crater, Amboseli National Park, at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro. Expect close encounters with lions, elephants, rhinos, hyenas, hippos, crocodiles, leopards, and too many other types of wildlife to name.

EPIC EASTERN EUROPE: Exploring the Balkans  1 Space Possibly Available

March 22 - April 4, 2026 

This Postojna Cave to Kotor tour is offered by special request. We will explore with 14 curious travelers on a private custom tour of Lake Bled to Škocjan Caves, Zadar, Split, Mostar, Kotor, and Dubrovnik (Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro).

TREASURES OF TANGIER: Morocco

(Tentatively planned for October, 2026

Join a select group and discover the treasures of Morocco in comfort on this private 13-day small group custom tour from Casablanca to Marrakech with lively medinas, majestic mountains, and breathtaking desert in between. This tour includes a private licensed guide, all meals, accommodations, entrance fees, taxes, and driver. Also included in this tour is an intimate Moroccan cooking experience with a Moroccan family.

FLAMENCO, PAELLA, and GAUDI: Touring Spain

(Tentative dates: March 18-31, 2027) 

This trip is currently in the making with plans to travel from Barcelona to Malaga, with experiences in the charming cliff village of Castellfollit de la Roca. You'll learn how to cook paella, see Gaudí's archetectural creations, Picasso's paintings, the palace and fortress complex of Alhambra, and clap your hands to Andalusian Roma dancing. This small group tour brings you history, tapas, wine and the a complete maravilloso Spanish experience.

Porto Historical Houses

PORTUGAL PAST & PRESENT

Your small group custom adventure begins in Porto with a Fado experience and takes you to Little Portuguese Tibet and to an ancient Roman settlement touching the path of the Camino de Santiago. You’ll walk through the villages of Monsanto, build into boulders, and to the medieval village of Monsaraz and its castle. Sampling port wine and learning to cook some of Portugal’s flavorful cuisine is an integral part of this extraordinary two-week journey.

January 9-17, 2026

This small-group Amazon River cruise takes you into a vibrant rainforest, home to some of the most exotic wildlife in the world including pink dolphins, three-toed sloths, jaguars, macaws, a variety of monkeys. This live-aboard experience promises delicious meals, and air-conditioned accommodations with a private bathroom. Your tour includes boatrides into small tributaries, walks on lush rainforest trails, and visit village communities, all with expert local guides.

Dr. simon Marijsse

Dr. Simon Marijsse is from Belgium and has a Master's Degree in Philosophy and a PhD in cultural anthropology. He is a historian and the cultural director of Heartbeat of the World. He has lived in Congo and Brazil and speaks nine languages.

Adnane Benajiba

Adnane Benajiba is a cultural advisor for Heartbeat of the World. He's a native of Tangier and was educated at the United International Business School in Europe. Adnane is an entrepreneur, businessman, and licensed Moroccan guide.

Sally Oberstein

Sally Oberstein founded  Generous Adventures in 1997. Her formal education in community progressed to her leading custom worldwide experiences on all seven continents. She has personally traveled to more than 100 countries.
