This 14-day Postojna Cave to Kotor tour is offered by special request. Simon Marijse will lead 12 curious travelers on a private custom tour of Lake Bled to Škocjan Caves, Zadar, Split, Mostar, Kotor, and Dubrovnik (Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro). This small group tour brings you history, tapas, wine and the a complete maravilloso Spanish experience.

PORTUGAL PAST & PRESENT

Your small group custom adventure begins in Porto with a Fado experience and takes you to Little Portuguese Tibet and to an ancient Roman settlement touching the path of the Camino de Santiago. You’ll walk through the villages of Monsanto, build into boulders, and to the medieval village of Monsaraz and its castle. Sampling port wine and learning to cook some of Portugal’s flavorful cuisine is an integral part of this extraordinary two-week journey.

Dr. simon Marijsse

Dr. Simon Marijsse is from Belgium and has a Master's Degree in Philosophy and a PhD in cultural anthropology. He is a historian and the cultural director of Heartbeat of the World. He has lived in Congo and Brazil and speaks nine languages.

Adnane Benajiba

Adnane Benajiba is a cultural advisor for Heartbeat of the World. He's a native of Tangier and was educated at the United International Business School in Europe. Adnane is an entrepreneur, businessman, and licensed Moroccan guide.

Sally Oberstein

Sally Oberstein founded  Generous Adventures in 1997. Her formal education in community progressed to her leading custom worldwide experiences on all seven continents. She has personally traveled to more than 100 countries.

  • Who can go on these tours?
    Generous Adventures tours are by invitation only. If you're in receipt of this URL and are interested in a tour, please get in touch with Sally Oberstein at sallyoberstein@yahoo.com. Once you're confirmed on a tour, a 25% deposit will be due to hold your space.
  • How do I make a payment?
    Payments can be made by check and mailed to: Generous Adventures, LLC 556 Hidden Way Homer, AK 99603 Payments can be made through Venmo by including 2% to your total, paid to: Sally Oberstein for Generous Adventures, LLC
  • Do I need to buy travel insurance?
    Maybe! Generous Adventures sometimes requires proof of travel insurance (medical, medivac evacuation, and trip cancellation) for clients. Please check the details of the trip you're interested in to see if insurance is included or required. Trip cancellation insurance is recommended and sold by World Nomads, Travel Guard, Travelex, and Alliance Travel, to name a few.
  • What is your refund policy?
    Refund Policy Cancellation charges reflect the many expenses Generous Adventures, LLC cannot recover if you cancel, even if you must do so due to illness, injury, or personal emergencies. These fees are not meant to be punitive. The charges made reflect the expenses Generous Adventures will incur in administering your reservation and planning for your participation. Please understand that once you’ve signed up, we lose the right to sell portions of your reserved space to other individuals. We recognize that the majority of those who cancel their reservations do so out of necessity. This is the reason we require you to purchase trip cancellation insurance.             If you cancel more than 120 days from the start of your trip, we offer a 90% refund of your payment. If you cancel 90-120 days from the start of your trip, we offer a 50% refund. We cannot offer a refund if you cancel within 89 days of your trip. Itinerary Changes Generous Adventures reserves the right to make any necessary itinerary changes with or without notice for your safety and comfort. Tour Costs Tour cost per person is based on double occupancy. See trip details for single supplement fees.
